The Process to a Completed Rendering
Working with us is quite simple. Fax, E-mail, Overnight or stop in with your plans,
colors and expectations and we will look the job over and give you a quote within 24 hours.
Depending on our work load our normal turn around time is 10 to 14 working days from final price approval and down payment (if applicable).
However, we do understand that your client may occasionally give you tight deadlines which result in your needing a shorter completion time .
Under these conditions we try to honor all rush jobs that come in the door for an additional cost. Winterstudio would need the following
items and information to provide a completed illustration.
Plans:
Elevations, floor plans, a site plan and the landscape plans are usually
all that are needed. However, the roof plans and details of areas the elevation may not show are sometimes necessary for an accurate layout.
Plans can be provided to us either digitally or in print. We prefer both if it is possible, but one or the other is fine.
Digital files must be sent one of three ways: over the Internet, on a zip disk, or on a CD, saved as either a Form-Z model or draft file or as a DWG file.
Please eliminate all unnecessary items from the drawing such as civil drainage notes, furniture, automobiles, etc.
If it won't be seen on the rendering we don't need to see it on the plans. When sending files over the Internet please compress the files using Winzip or Stuffit.
If your project has not yet materialized to the point of having a full set of plans, we will be more than happy to work with any reference material you can provide us, be it photographs, napkin sketches or pencil drawings.
Colors:
We have all the current fan decks of major paint manufacturers for matching your colors. You can either send the paint chip samples with your plans,
the paint ID number, or photographs of existing buildings you intend to match.
View preference:
Let us know what view you have in mind by either marking it on the plans, writing it in an e-mail or telling us over the phone.
Once we have all the materials necessary to start your illustration and your approval on the quote, you will have two opportunities to review the progress of your rendering before the final illustration is rendered to completion.
